Research topics
Non-destructive phenotyping of cells by biologically-supervised machine learning of single-cell label-free optical data
Keyword
Summary
I aim to develop a multi-modal single-cell analysis platform in which label-free optical image data and molecular biological data are linked at the single-cell level, thereby enabling discovery and quantification of cellular functions and phenotypes in a non-destructive and label-free manner. Such analysis could impact various fields in fundamental science and medical settings: e.g., defining and quantifying cells and cellular states which do not have known surface markers, quality control of cells that will be used for medical applications, etc.

Comment

I aim to realize novel single-cell analysis that harnesses the full potential of label-free optical measurement.
