Molecular mechanisms of axillary stem cell establishment involving a plant hormone
Keyword
Summary
Plant development is dependent on the activity of pluripotent stem cells. Previously, our research group identified a genetic pathway, which is required for the establishment of axillary stem cells that give rise to branches in rice, the model monocot species. Furthermore, we recently found that a certain plant hormone acts in association with this genetic pathway. In this study, we aim to deepen our understanding of the regulatory mechanisms of axillary stem cell establishment by elucidating the role of the plant hormone.

Comment

Thank you very much for your support of this research project. I will make an effort to contribute to the understanding of the regulatory mechanisms of plant stem cells, which are important for continuous plant development.
